UNICEL expands coverage Waitsfield.
Unicel has added five new cell sites in the past few months, bringing the total number of Unicel cell sites in Vermont to 126. The wireless services company plans to add as many as 12 more cell sites this year, providing Vermont residents, business people and travelers with the benefits of its advanced network. Unicel announced its most recent cell sites today with Gov. Douglas at the Waitsfield Inn, the historic home to one of Unicel's latest cell sites. Working closely with innkeepers Mike and Ronda Kelley as well as a consultant to the Vermont Department of Historic Preservation, Unicel's latest cell site is virtually invisible.

UNICEL turned up new cell site between Guilford and Vernon, VT. The Vernon site is located on the Massachusetts/ Vermont border, which greatly improves coverage along the I-91 corridor into Vermont. In summary, Unicel has added many sites throughout Vermont over the past several months. Here is a list of some:

UNICEL expands coverage to Charlotte. Unicel has expanded its wireless digital network with a new cell site in Charlotte, Unicel officials said this week. The company's mprovements are all part of Unicel's $125 million network investment around the nation, with $31 million invested in the Northeast. The new cell site offers cellular coverage for residents of Charlotte, Hinesburg, and North Ferrisburgh as well as for commuters traveling on U.S. 7 and Vermont 116. Burlingtion Free Press.
