In order to carry out its mission to insure access to high speed Internet, mobile data and the cellular phone network throughout Vermont by the end of 2010, the VTA wants to assist you with any employee training or new hire issues you might have. We recognize that meeting the e-State timetable may require additional or upgraded staffing and we'd like to help you with this task. For furthur information contact:

Need a site for a tower or antenna?

Vermonters want mobile phone coverage and internet access. Because they do, over 140 have so far offered their steeple, silo, rooftop, land, hill, or tower for use by communications infrastructure building companies. If your company has a current CPG, is providing service today, or has concrete plans for service in the near future, the VTA will share the contact information with you. We can sort by town, or section of the state.

We need to protect the privacy of the folks who have offered to help so do not make the list available to the general public.

Please look at our Property Submission Form to see the type of information we are gathering. Those offering their property should be contacted directly by you and the negotiations should be between the service provider and property owner. The VTA is serving as an information gathering and introduction tool only.

Do you need local knowledge on what is, and isn't, happening in the communications world of Vermont?

The Dept. of Information and Innovation has leant Charlie Kremer to the VTA. Charlie is an expert on what has happened and what various activities are underway. He knows the players and the networks. A lot of what he knows is under NDA but he is glad to share equally with any Vermont data or voice provider what he can and what he has learned over his years of working in this field in Vermont.

Charlie's experience can save you days of searching around to find out who to speak with and how to find them.

Please remember when speaking with Charlie to tell him what is proprietary information and what is not. The VTA has NDA's with most of the state's providers, but if your company does not and would like to share proprietary information, please just ask for one of our forms.

The e-state initiative will need all of us working together, buying from and selling to each other as well as sharing infrastructure. The VTA is here to help.
