RFQ VTA2011-124 Detailed Engineering and Design for Fiber Optic Facilities
This Request for Quotations is for Engineering Services for several regional fiber optic projects. The RFQ is being issued on September 21, 2011. Responses are due on October 11, 2011.
The Vermont Telecommunication Authority (VTA) is seeking to design open fiber optic facilities that will support use by multiple service providers and which will have strands suitable for middle mile or transport applications, as well as strands suitable for last mile applications. The VTA intends to use the Engineering and Design process to determine the number of fiber strands needed to support middle mile and last mile applications.
