RFQ VTA2012-131: Grant Writing Consulting Services
The Vermont Telecommunications Authority (VTA) is an instrumentality of the State of Vermont with a mission to advance the development of broadband and cellular services in the state. The VTA wishes to respond to the FY 2012 Disaster Relief Opportunity grant issued by the Economic Development Administration (EDA), U.S. Department of Commerce. One of the major concerns that emerged from Tropical Storm Irene was the inability to communicate in times of emergency due to lack of cellular coverage and/or due to lack of resilient infrastructure. The VTA believes it may have solutions that can benefit Vermont communities.
The organization seeks a consultant to complete the Federal Grant Application.
